Lake Naivasha, marvel at Lake Nakuru’s countless flocks of flamingoes,
watch bubbling geothermal pools and geysers on the banks of Lake Bogoria,
and enjoy spectacular birdwatching at Lake Baringo. At Samburu National
Park, meet the nomadic tribes of the Samburu, Borana and Turkana.

THE GREAT RIFT VALLEY LAKES
Day 01:
Lake Naivasha
You will be met by your safari guide. Leaving Nairobi we travel to Lake
Naivasha, a world class birding destination, with a stop at the Great
Rift Valley view point to observe the valley below. Proceed to Loldia
House.
Spend one
night at Loldia House. Accommodation is in a room with an en-suite bathroom.
Your stay is on a full board basis.
Day 02:
Lake Nakuru
After breakfast we travel to Lake Nakuru, coloured by a shimmering flamingo
pink from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. On arrival
at Lake Nakuru Lodge, enjoy lunch and afternoon at leisure until our afternoon
game-drive in the park.
 Spend
one night at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Accommodation is in a room with en-suite
facilities. Your stay is on a full board basis.
Day 03
& 04: Lake Bogoria / Lake Baringo
After breakfast we depart for Lake Bogoria where we visit the hot water
and medicinal springs. The soda water of the lake attracts massive flocks
of Flamingo and the lake is often carpeted with pink. Travel to Lake Baringo,
a fresh water lake with a fabulous bird life, where we board the boat
for our transfer to Samatian Island Camp in Lake Baringo.
Spend
two nights at Samatian Island Camp. Accommodation is in a thatched
chalet with en-suite facilities. Your stay is on a full board basis including
scheduled activities as offered by the Lodge.
Activities
include bird walks, boat trips and sundowners.
Day 05
& 06: Samburu National Park
After breakfast you board your boat for your transfer to the mainland.
Drive to Samburu Game Reserve with lunch en-route. At Samburu you will
meet the nomadic tribes of Samburu, Borana and Turkana who have lived
in this diverse land blessed with rich colours.
Spend
two nights at Samburu Intrepids. Accommodation is in a tent with en-suite
facilities. Your stay is on a full board basis.
Your safari
guide will conduct early morning and afternoon game-drives.
Day 07:
Mount Kenya
After breakfast we depart to Mount Kenya Safari Club, situated on the
slopes of Mount Kenya, the second highest mountain in Kenya. Afternoon
at leisure.
Spend one
night at Mount Kenya Safari Club. Accommodation is in a room. Your stay
is on a full board basis.
Optional
extras include game-drives in Mount Kenya National Park, Sweetwaters Nature
Sanctuary or horse riding
Day 08:
Nairobi
After breakfast we depart to Nairobi where we arrive around 13:30. On
arrival our services end.
