1 Nairobi - Arusha/Dar-es-Salaam-Arusha
Arrive at Arusha Airport, you are met and greeted by your tour
leader from Afrika Zambezi Safaris. Transfer to your lodge. Overnight
at Arusha Coffee lodge (BB)
Day 2 Serengeti National Park - Migration camp/Mbuzi Mawe Camp
After breakfast, airport transfer and scheduled flight to Serengeti
National Park to witness the most famous wildlife migration in the
world, its natural beauty and its renowned concentration of wildlife.
On arrival, you are met by safari guides and transferred to your
luxury tented camp overlooking the secluded Grumeti River, teeming
with hippopotamus, crocodiles and completely surrounded by an exquisite
wilderness with excellent game viewing all year round. Afternoon
game drives are conducted with your expert African safari guides
in open 4x4 land-rover/Land-cruiser adapted to enable superb viewing
of wildlife and to feel close to the bush. After evening game viewing
drive, dinner and overnight at Migration Camp/Mbuzi
Mawe Camp (LDBB)
Day 3 Serengeti National Park
Full day game viewing gives you a great opportunity to explore
the wilds of Serengeti national park, with both morning and afternoon
game drive adventures. Meals in a colonial dining style and overnight
at Migration Camp/Mbuzi Mawe Camp (LDBB)
Day 4 Serengeti National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives are conducted with a packed
picnic breakfast or in the evening with sundowner stop cooler box
with iced cold beer, gin & tonic and wine. Dinner and overnight
at Migration Camp/Mbuzi Mawe Camp (LDBB)
Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater-Conservancy Area
Our last early morning game drive and breakfast, after which
you say goodbye to Migration camp staff as we depart with our lunch
picnic basket heading towards Ngorongoro Crater conservancy area,
the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems
from its overwhelming physical beauty with an abundance of wildlife
permanently resident on the crater floor. Game drives en route are
conducted with our expert safari guides. On arrival in the afternoon,
rest and soak up the atmosphere of this world famous lodge, the
sounds of the wild and the magnificent views over the spectacular

Day 6 Ngorongoro Crater- Conservancy Area
After breakfast, a game drive trip descending to the crater
floor where you will witness this renowned wildlife paradise with
its Big Five animals. Return to the lodge for lunch on the viewing
deck. It's your siesta afternoon with optional activities such as
visiting the Masai Crafts market. All meals and overnight at Ngorongoro

Day 7 Tarangire National Park
After breakfast this morning, we depart to the famous Tarangire
Tree camps. Beautifully furnished, this camp offers wonderful safari
accommodation with elevated views of the famous Tarangire ecosystem.
Afternoon game drives are offered until sunset. Dinner and overnight
at Tarangire Tree Camp (LDBB)
Day 8 Tarangire National Park
You have the option of spending a full day either on game drives
in the national park, or on a walking safari on foot with an armed
professional safari guide in the morning or afternoon, combined
with game drives back to the camp for a bush dinner this evening.

Day 9 Selous Game Reserve
After morning game drive and breakfast today, you depart on
charter flight to the Selous Game Reserve or alternatively, a game
drive en-route to Arusha for the afternoon charter flight to Selous
Game Reserve. The Selous Game Reserve encompasses 54, 000 square
kilometers. Situated in the south-western part of Tanzania, it is
known to be the largest protected wilderness in Africa - three times
larger than Serengeti national park and twice the size of Belgium.
Selous Safari Camp offers three spectacular spacious, luxuriously
tented safari camps which lie on the banks of the Rufiji River in
the centre of the unique riverine and lake ecosystem. All camps
offer prime game- viewing in an open 4x 4 vehicles, or on sunset
boat cruises. Selous Game Reserve is the only park in East Africa
which has a population of Painted African Wild Dogs. Game walks
with qualified armed safari guides are an exciting option while
staying in one of Selous safari camps with overnight fly-camps available
at an extra cost which can be arranged on arrival. Dinner and overnight

Day 10 Selous Game Reserve
Optional safari activities such as game walks, bird watching,
and sunset cruises, full day game drives into the Selous in either
the morning or afternoon can be arranged to suit your preference.

Day 11 Selous Game Reserve
Full day safari activities in Selous national park. Farewell
dinner with your safari guides and Overnight at Selous

Day 12 Departure
After Morning drives and breakfast, you depart Selous on charter
flight to Dar Es Salaam to connect with your homeward bound flight.

Accommodation Overview:
Migration Camp in Serengeti National Park.
Migration Camp is located in the northern Serengeti national
park overlooking the Grumeti River, perfectly situated near the
path of the famous wildlife migrations. Best months for this in
the Serengeti are October to November and April to June. The fourteen-tented
camp is designed for high standards of comfort to suit the guests'
expectation and safari needs.
Safari Overview: Excellent game viewing of crocodiles and
hippopotamus in Grumeti River waters, elephants, buffaloes, Thomson's
gazelles, Topi, wildebeest, zebra, cheetah, leopards, pride of lions
and prolific birdlife.
Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge
Ngorongoro Sopa is beautifully positioned on the uppermost
rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site, The crater
is in fact the ancient caldera of an extinct volcano which forms
a natural containment area for one of the largest permanent concentrations
of wildlife in Africa. Sopa means a warm welcome in Masai language
and the lodge offers the most breathtaking views of the crater floor
far below from the lodge's many decks and balconies. All rooms are
stunning and placed to take advantage of the cool breeze. The sparkling
swimming pool is inviting for those returning from a game drive.
Sopa Lodge was opened in 1992 and it is one of the best and most
unique game lodges in the Ngorongoro Conservancy Area
Safari Overview: Excellent game viewing of elephants, buffalo,
Thomsons gazelle, topi, tsessebe, wildebeests, zebra, cheetah, leopard,
prides of lion and fantastic birdlife.
Safari Activities: Game drives both morning and afternoon,
full day game drives with picnic lunch, and game walks, all in the
Ngorongoro Crater itself, and with an expert safari guide.
Tarangire Tree-Camp
Dramatically built on platforms among the trees overlooking
the Tarangire Sand River, the camp is located in the pristine Tarangire
Conservation Area which compasses a 57,000 acres and is a designated
area for the conservation and management of the giant baobab trees,
mopani and wild fig forests on the borders of Tarangire National
Park.
Safari Overview: The wildlife species of Tarangire National
Park include herds of buffalo, their accompanying prides of lion,
cheetah, leopard and elephants,Thomsons gazelles, zebra and herds
of wildebeest.
Safari Activities: The tree-camps offer guests a great deal of flexibility
to enjoy comfort and tranquility. Guests can choose professionally
guided activities conducted inside the conservcancy, such as on
foot safaris, fly-camping, mountain bike trails and night drives
but can also take drives into Tarangire itself, one of Africa's
most beautiful national parks. In addition your stay directly benefits
wildlife conservation.
Local Community Conservation Partnership: The Conservation
Partnership between the Tree-Camp owners and the Masai villages
of Lokisale and Makayuni is an initiative which benefits the local
community with a direct share of revenue from the Tarangire Tree-camps'
earnings on accommodation, plus an annual land lease fee. The income
is spent on improving the school buildings, clinic and dispensary,
erecting water pumps and grading of roads. In return the local community
ensures wildlife conservation in the conservancy area, by limiting
the encroachment of farming and cattle grazing, putting a halt to
snaring and poaching, charcoal burning and deforestation in order
to allow the area to return to its natural wild state.
Selous Safari Camp
Selous Safari Camp is a luxury camp beautifully situated on the
banks of Lake Nzerakera in the most pristine natural environment.
There are no barriers to the movement of wildlife which can often
be seen from your accommodation.
Watch a wild African river from your tent.
The spacious tents are each placed on raised timber platforms and
are luxuriously appointed, with en suite bathrooms and open air
hot-water showers. The camp has its own swimming pool, enabling
guests to cool off in the heat of the day.
